I’m proud and excited to release my new album
AND WE FOR ONE ANOTHER
I fell in love with the raw, hazy, warm compressed sound of it. Tinkered and tipped and taped.
Finally last year I dove headfirst into finishing the best songs, recording more and turning it all into an album.
Couldn’t have done that without the huge help of these wonderful friends
Ian McTigue made the songs three dimensional with his amazing, intuitive drumming and bodhran. He helped turn this into an album and I’m so indebted to him.
Kevin Meehan brought Song For The Twelfth of July and Fare Thee Well Enniskillen into another, beautiful realm with his stunning whistle parts and harmonies.
Clare Faherty played concertina and Cian Vincent Loughnane played fiddle on The Green Man and The Compatriots Set, their parts took the tunes from being anchored down in my house and released them into a celestial seisiun!
Jayne Eleanor on violin and Gilbert Hadden on cello gave Morning Mist a whole new sense of class with evocative sweeping drama
And my old mucker Murray McDowell from the port of Larne lent his finest pub quiz skills to the coda of Laharna – see if you can guess the answer..
Greig Berry of Berry Jam Studios made the stunning Morning Mist video and also created the images for the album artwork, which tell the story better than words.
Album and single sleeve design by the one and only Alan Doherty.
Peter Montgomery, Vinyl & Digital Mastering did the perfect job mastering, understood what I was creating and worked with great sensitivity
Feebee Foran kept me together and helped me make Morning Mist
Huge thank you to Laura and team at No PR for getting my music out there and to All Write Media for CDs quickly and perfectly.
