New single TAKE ME HOME out now!!

Folks I’m delighted and proud to release my new single TAKE ME HOME !

The song is the first fruit of a writing partnership with my good friend, the acclaimed and established Dublin singer/songwriter Tony Floyd Kenna which began way back at the end of 2020.
Tony sent me sets of wonderful lyrics without music and I composed tunes and chopped and shaped them (like ham) into an album’s worth of songs which hinted at previously uncharted musical waters.

In Spring of 2023 I began to record the songs at home on tape, with all manner of instruments and analogue devices used to make sounds (mostly guitars, truth be told).
Fast forward two years and here is the first release!

TAKE ME HOME is a story of Irish emigration and the desire to come back, even and if only to finish the journey where it started.
It tells a tale of leaving “to rebuild a country ravaged by war” as so many did in the mid 20th century, but the message and emotions are timeless.
